GoodShop.com money to OHS Band!!

You just go to GoodShop.com, click on Amazon (or any of the other stores you would shop online with) and it will forward you to the online store, you purchase your stuff and Amazon donates 1.5% of your purchase to the OHS band. This 1.5% is not added to your cost. The donation comes out of their profit.

Band Banquet

Dear Students and Parents,

We just wanted to remind you all that we will be holding our Band Banquet for marching band students and their parents this Tuesday, November 15th at 6:00 pm in the commons/cafeteria area of Orem High School. We appreciate all of you have offered to donate items for the banquet as well as all the donations we've received throughout the year. Our Band Boosters are the BEST and you students are pretty good too....just kidding you are AMAZING!! So please put this date on your calendars and plan to attend.

For the students who have instruments to check in bring them that same day Tuesday the 15 at 4:15 in the band room. Please have them cleaned and the brass polished when you check in. Please make sure to be there or make other arrangements with Mr. Summers.

Parents, thanks again for all your support this season and all your hard students!

Saturday PG High School UPDATE

Here is an update of the events for Saturday.

The competition will be at Pleasant Grove High School this year, the address is 700 E Battlecreek Drive in Pleasant Grove.

Call time is at 1:00 - 2:00 to rehearse on the field

2:00 I need people there to help with loading the trailer and moving truck

2:50 depart

3:10 unload

3:30 uniforms

3:55 warmup

5:00 perform

5:30 uniforms off

6:00 load equipment

watch bands

8:15 awards

8:30 travel back to OHS

8:45 unload at the school

*There will be a snack provided for the kids, but please have them eat before they come, and send money or more snacks for them if you think they will be hungry later.

*Make sure they wear black socks, and have a sweatshirt since the weather is now getting cooler

*We hope to have their band tshirts to hand out on Saturday.

If you would like to watch bands perform before Orem does you can go and watch, I don't know what time it starts but you can go around 2 or 3 and watch other bands. There is a cost, I believe $5 a person. Please come and support our great BAND!

Orem High Football Game Performance

The Marching Band performs at the Orem High Football game on Friday Night!

The kids will need to be there at 6:20 p.m. to help with pep band and then they will perform around 8 p.m. They will be putting uniforms on aroung 7:30 p.m.

The other kids that are not in marching band but are in the pep band will help with pit this night.

Come support if you can.
